Description

One more M.S.R. offering for your consideration. Teri, Danny & the Librettos trend predominantly toward cool Phil Spector-lite soulful 60s girl group arrangements. This album also features weird Altman-esque meta-kitschy patriotic tunes a la Nashville, along with some spooky torchlight maudlin lounge cuts. Fun assortment all around, seldom pops up.


Grading:

Sleeve is low-end VG+ Displays great, just has a corner ding on the top right


Playgrade: Side one plays VG+ with no issues


Side two(PLEASE READ): Every track on this side plays VG+ with the exception of "Soon it will be Xmas time again," which has some small, raised piece of smegma on it that causes pops for a few rotations. Looks more like a pressing defect than a scratch(see pictures). It doesn't skip and could possibly come out through wood glue/other cleaning methods.


Because of that defect, I'll give this a VG playgrade overall. Otherwise a flawless listen.
