I just recently received an e-mail congratulating me for four years on ebay, and in that time, I've seen this one for sale once, and as a usual buyer, I check almost every day. This album is one of Teresa Teng's five most all time rare LPs, this one released just soon after the passport trouble she had in Japan. With China newly recognized as the Chinese people's world rep., and Taiwan stripped of its status, she couldn't enter Japan with her Taiwan passport, so some friends prepared her a fake Indonesian passport, and convinced her to try it, and she was caught. You can imagine the story that'd create today. Then, too, she was incarcerated for a short time and banished from the country for a year or so (which a couple of years later led to her great comeback & Taurus Records). Polydor released this LP shortly afterward, so very few copies were made and sold in such a negative environment, perhaps many thinking that was it for her. Thus, the album's considerable rarity. This copy is very nice, though a couple thin scratches on the front album cover and her cheek, as seen in the ultra close-up below. The vinyl is also excellent and just a couple 1-2cm minor and light scuffs, and all shiny and glossy though played and enjoyed before. It includes the whole package with NM obi and EX insert, EX+ cover and NM- LP. Thanks for stopping by, Milt
