Description

An original spring '68 1st <MONO> press on DERAM. Matrix 1B/1B. Stampers 1C/1C - seriously early in sequence...first couple of thousand copies. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover with pinched spine. We also have the original poly lines inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% copy.
Vinyl (Ex) In excellent condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of very minor deviations. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Really nice and clean into the quieter moments. Absolute silence behind the drum solo on side 2 - even in the quietest sector. The cymbal strikes are absolutely legendary and perfectly resolved. A couple of isolated ticks on side 1. A few low-level static crackles in one brief spot on side 1. But in reality this is about as clean a feed you're ever gonna find. Listen to the guitar licks and sit back and marvel. Superbly recorded - the fidelity is really top draw. Highly recommended.  
Cover (Vg+) In excellent order with a nice clean front exhibiting some thumbnailing at the opening. The rear has avoided much of the ageing process just a touch noticeable at extremities. Minimal edge wear and the spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. No splits.
