Teenage Head - "Picture My Face" / "Tearin Me Apart" - 7" single w/ PICTURE SLEEVE ***AUTOGRAPHED***
Only 100 were pressed *with* the picture sleeve. The autographs were obtained when I went to see Teenage Head play at Brock University Gymnasium, St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada in February, 1980. I recall speaking with Frankie Venom who informed me that there were only 100 copies made.
The picture sleeve is in near mint condition! There is a yellowed area to the right of the picture (between Steve and Gord's autographs) which is due to the glue used when the sleeve was assembled by hand. Assembled by the band members themselves, as the story goes. The inside stock CBS sleeve and disc are in Mint condition. This item has been stored inside a clear plastic protective sleeve since it was purchased. Only taken out to be autographed, to check inside for condition and to take photos prior to this listing. I am the original and only owner of this item. It has NEVER been played as I already owned the album and had no need to play the single.
This copy is autographed by all 4 original members: Frankie Venom, Gord Lewis, Steve Mahon and Nick Stipanitz.
Frankie Venom signed 'Frankie Venom' 'Don't forget us Eh?' and drew a caricature of himself. Steve Mahon signed 'Hi Don' 'Thanks Alot!' 'Steve Head' Gord Lewis signed 'Frantic City' 'Legs Lewis' 'Teenage Head' Nick Stipanitz signed 'Nick S.'
Due to the scarcity of this picture sleeve, it is entirely possible that this is the ONLY autographed copy in existence. This cannot be proven of course, but odds are it may very well be.
