Description
Includes Teddy Charles, vibes, piano; Shorty Rogers, trumpet; Shelly Manne, drums; Jimmy Guiffre, tenor sax; Curtis Counce, bass. The 4 tracks are describe individually as 1 track of spontaneour improvisation; 1 track by Charls; 1 track by Rogers; 1 track by Guiffre.
Cover: VG(-) to VG 7" split on the top edge; 1" split on the bottom edge. The spine has complete paper loss and this exposes the underlying cardboard that makes up the jacket. This could be considered a "split" but the 2 pieces of cardboard that make up the jacket are held securely. Minor fading along the edge of the front cover. Some aging on the back cover with some darker toning along the edges.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are 2 or 3 short extremely light surface rub marks. These do not effect the sound. A tiny "bump" can be seen on Track 1, Side B. This is a minor flaw in the vinyl. This results in 1 light click. Elsewhere there may be 3 or 4 light clicks. In general there is no surface noise. The vinyl is very clean with a gloss finish. The minor noise described appears to be confined to Track 1, Side B. Fine quality. Audibly checked.
