Description

NINE Ted Nugent Vinyl LPs FREE POSTAGE IN UK; Featuring Ted Nugent with the Amboy Dukes (Double Album 1970) "Survival of the Fittest Live", the 1973 "Call of the Wild", and the more rocking "Tooth, Fang & Claw"from 1974 (includes a cover of Chuck Berry's "Maybelline"), which marks the start of the classic Ted Nugent style, and his subsequent solo successes from 1975 to the end of the '80s (when he co- formed the Damn Yankees); this period is covered mostly by these LPs (the OMISSIONS in this collection are "Cat Scratch Fever"(1977", "Scream Dream"(1980), "Penetrator"(1983) and "Little Miss Dangerous"(1986)). All LPs for sale here are in good playable condition, though the sleeves may show signs of wear. The Ted Nugent Solo LPs are "Ted Nugent"(1975), "Free For All"(1976, featuring Meatloaf), "Double Live Gonzo(1978, from which Nashville Pussy got their name( check out the intro to "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang"),"Weekend Warriors"(1979, the iconic sleeve design made it onto a pinball machine of the same name, I remember), "Intensities in Ten Cities" (Live,1982 featuring previously unheard compositions/ covers), and "If you can't Lick 'em..Lick 'em"(1988, Nuge's successful "comeback" album (in the UK at least), featuring Jon Bon Jovi co-writing, and not a bad track in sight!) Whatever is thought of Ted Nugent and his rollercoaster relationship with off stage life (provocative political views, the campaign against 'musak', ill-judged comments about Phil Lynott, Barack Obama and others, shooting things, reputedly chinning Don Johnson etc,etc., it must be remembered that he was and is The Man when it comes to USA Rock n Roll Guitar playing- I tuned  into Ted Nugent 30yrs ago when learning to play, and an experienced player told me that these LPs contained all you need to know(Ronnie Montrose is up there too).
