Hi there once again eBayers! Here I have a superb collection of two rare TMG photographs, combined with a TMG Live Vinyl LP!
This package is part of a collection from a gentleman who booked bands in the late 1970's and early 1980's in the Geelong region, mostly for the Waurn Ponds Hotel on the Princes Highway heading out of Geelong. (The hotel still exists, but is now a pokies barn.)
In booking the bands, he kept almost all the promotional materials he received. This included records, posters, photos, press releases, biogs and other ephemera. Some of the posters were unused and some had the date, time and venue hand written on them. Some of the press releases have his hand written notes on them, and some of the biogs and photos have been cut up for use in promoting the bands. Many of the bands were icons of the Australian pub rock scene, including Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, The Sports, Jo Jo Zep, Paul Kelly, The Models, The Church, plus many lesser known bands and artists, though many are familiar.
This collection is almost certainly a one off - items like these will not become available again.
As you can see, all items are in used, but still in relatively good condition.
The TMG Live LP is in quite good condition, with some wear around the edges of the sleeve and light scuffing/fading. The Record its self is in good condition, with small amounts of dust and the very occasional and very miniscule scratch. Would not be surprised if it had only been played once or twice!
