Vol 1. NAS773. Test musical cuts, most genres. Spindle marks on one side.
Vol. 2. 52-45 Schubert. Octet. Vienna Chamber Ensemble. No spindle marks.
Vol. 3.2NO-2019. Disco check by Koichi Sugiyama; Corcavado by the LA4; Round Midnight by The Three; Killing Me Softly With His
Song by Junko Ohashi. No spindle marks.
Vol 4. Audio Test Record SFC-TR-100. Technical tests/ Bach- arr. Kono. Three Images from Chaconne, BwV 1004. No spindle marks.
This box has 4 12” 45 rpm Japanese-pressed vinyl records in individual cardboard jackets. Each has its own multi-page illustrated booklet in English. Each record is in a plastic sleeve as is each jacket. Each carries a printed notice, “Not for Sale.” The external sleeves seem not to have been sealed.
There is a hole in the back of the box to facilitate pushing out the somewhat tightly fitting records.
The records seem to have been manufactured by Matsuhita Electronic Industries, stereo department, 1977-1980
According to what I read on-line, this box was sent to Technics dealers and not available commercially. The edition seems to have been limited to 150 copies.
Records are M-. The box has light hinge wear, torn along the hinge-line at the bottom, perhaps an inch.
