Description

Here is an extremely rare 1985 AFRTS disc containing a full 25 minute special on Tears for Fears, featuring an extensive live interview with Roland Orzabal and five songs. It’s a great interview. In it, Orzabal talks about how the film Sybil inspired the album title Songs from the Big Chair, and discusses the writing and recording of “Pale Shelter,” “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” “Change” and “Shout.” I haven’t been able to find any info on the record or the interview, so I assume it’s pretty much forgotten. The other side of the LP is an entirely different Armed Forces Radio show called Jazz Beat. The record is in excellent condition with some faint sleeve marks that do not affect play.
