Tears For Fears - Songs From The Big Chair - 2014 Stereo Mix - VINYL
For sale is my copy of the long deleted Steven Wilson 2014 Stereo Mix from the analogue tapes of 'Songs From The Big Chair'. As aficionados are aware, this project was undertaken as part of the anniversary celebrations of the record.
It is NOT a remix but rather Steven Wilson's update from the analogue tapes done at Abbey Road under the guidance of Roland Orzabal, which due to modern methods not available in 1985 meant earlier generation tapes could be used to manage the crossfades on Side B.
Great idea and a lovely update to the classic.
Pressed at Optimal on 180-gm vinyl.
Vinyl NM: this is an unmarked, beautifully glossy and flat pressing, with pristine labels, as near to mint as an unsealed record could be;
Sleeve / Inner NM: both in wonderful shape, no seam splits or tears, see photographs for details.
Gold-standard Discogs gradings used.
The vinyl is stored in an archival-standard MoFi inner sleeve to protect it from paper scuffs.
