Tea And Symphony 'Jo Sago' UK Harvest SHVL 785, 1970.
Along with Panama Limited, definitely the rarest Harvest label release! Condition: Side 1 of this record has been play tested because of a couple of marks but these marks did not affect the sound in any way and the whole side played beautifully with only the very occasional light crackle.Side two is unmarked and I have no reason to think it should sound anything but superb. The sound quality is excellent with a great depth and clarity for this period and better recorded than their first album. Both labels are clean and unmarked. The unlaminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition but has a small tear to front top right from a carelessly removed sticker,and just below the catalogue number on the rear is another small tear (3cm x 1cm). The spine is only in good condition but the inside of the gatefold is almost immaculate.
In 34 years working in record shops I've only physically seen this original twice, and on both occasions I had to buy it! Equally good as their first release but a lot more adventurous, and let's face it, this album is getting scarcer by the minute and a solid investment!
