ULTRA-RARE ORIGINAL 1968 WHITE LABEL PROMO OF THE JAPAN ONLY ALBUM "TAMLA-MOTOWN FESTIVAL, TOKYO '68" FEATURING STEVIE WONDER ON SIDE A AND MARTHA & THE VANDELLAS ON SIDE B. THIS ALBUM IS ONE OF THE TRUE FINDS FOR ANY RARE MOTOWN COLLECTORS SINCE THE RECORD IS A WHITE LABEL PROMO THAT LOOKS VIRTUALLY UNPLAYED AND IS THE ORIGINAL GATEFOLD COVER WITH THE LINER NOTES/LYRICS INSERT PAGES STUCK IN BETWEEN. THERE ARE SOME NICE B&W PHOTOS OF THE TWO ARTISTS ARRIVING IN TOKYO, PRESS CONFERENCE SHOTS, STAGE SHOTS AND EVEN A RARE PHOTO OF ALL OF THEM SHAKING HANDS WITH MEMBERS OF THE JAPANESE GROUP SOUNDS ROCK GROUP THE SPIDERS. THIS CONCERT WAS HELD IN SHIBUYA, KOKKAIDO ON FEB. 13, 1968 AND THE RECORD WAS RELEASED ABOUT A MONTH AFTER THE SHOW. SOME OF THE BACKUP PLAYERS THAT TOURED WITH THEM CREDITED ARE JUST IMPRESSIVE, WITH NAMES LIKE DAVID T. WALKER, MELVIN BROWN AND SO ON. THE CONDITION OF THE COVER IS A STRONG VG++ SINCE THERE ARE ONLY JUST A FEW NATURAL AGE WEAR ON THE COVER AND THE RECORD IS NEAR MINT. THE BACK COVER HAS A GREAT LIVE SHOT OF MARTHA & THE VANDELLAS FROM THIS SHOW! THIS IS ONE OF THE MOTOWN GRAILS!!!!!
