Description
Released by Tamla Motown in 1968, cat # STML 11103; this is “Irresistible” by Tammi Terrell.
The laminated flip-back sleeve is in at least excellent condition. There is a tiny amount of wear to the lower flip-back where another sleeve became attached during many, many years of storage. The labels are very clean and I can just about make out two tiny spindle marks. The playing surfaces are unmarked and are in mint condition. The record comes in a crisp, clean EMI inner sleeve that looks as good as the day it was made.
A stunning example of a rare Tamla album.
All of these Motown albums come from the same source – an original 60’s Top Rank DJ who started in the ballrooms and progressed to radio and record production in the 1970’s. The vast majority of the collection is mint or unplayed, but he clearly loved his Motown as most of the 60’s and early 70’s singles are generally in very good condition, but with a few notable exceptions!
