Description

Available this time is a sealed copy of Tentative Decisions Demos & Live by Talking Heads on vinyl & 7" single. This limited edition item is released as part of RSD 2025 Black Friday edition. Talking Heads members Chris Frantz and David Byrne met as students at Rhode Island School of Design, and made music in a college band called The Artistics. In spring semester 1974, the band gathered in Frantz’s Benefit Street apartment to record a demo tape. The cassette featured tracks soon to be classics in the Talking Heads discography: “Warning Sign” and “Psycho Killer.” This collection for RSD Black Friday includes this newly discovered material alongside an additional eleven demo and live tracks recorded by the original trio lineup of the band (Bassist Tina Weymouth alongside Frantz and Byrne) in 1975 and 1976. Pressed on clear coloured vinyl & 7" single. Limited to 7500 copies. An excellent addition to any Talking Heads collection.

Grading is by visual inspection only. I never rate anything as mint, that is just the way I look at things as there might be a slight imperfection I cannot see. Near mint is the highest I grade. I do my best to package everything as best I can. Unfortunately small things may happen in shipping like minor bumps to the sleeve or cracks in the case. That is not covered by any insurance through the shipping company. If on the rare time the item arrives broken, that is covered. Please send pictures if that has happened.

Item is located in Canada.
If you are in the US, donald has started to charge new handling fees that has been included in the shipping charge. As of Sept.08.25, it looks like media (vinyl records, cds, dvds, etc) are finally exempt of tariffs!!

To my fellow Canadians...if Canada post is on strike, I already have a backup plan. I do use a courier company that has been really good. The downside is that they cannot deliver to P.O. boxes as only Canada Post can do that. Also, they are not very good with apartment buildings as they usually just leave the packages at the front door area where anyone can take them. They also do not deliver to the Yukon, NWT, Nunavut or most of Newfoundland. If you live in any of these areas, contact me and I will try to find an alternative shipping company for you

I can combine shipping if you are looking at purchasing more than one item. Please email with your address if you are wondering about additional shipping costs.
The shipping company I use to ship is a bit of a drive and are closed on weekends. That means I will be shipping usually twice a week. Most weeks it will be on Tuesday and Friday.

All shipping prices include packaging, tracking and insurance.

I am currently only shipping this item to Canada, UK, Germany, France and the US (including Puerto Rico)
