Description
This is an original, sealed copy of the Talking Heads- Speaking in Tongues from 1983. This limited edition release has only 50,000 copies. Comes in original plastic casing with hype sticker. See below for details from Discogs.
Allied Record Company indicated by the Allied 'ɑ' logo in the runouts.
Limited edition of 50,000. Clear vinyl.
The packaging, designed by Robert Rauschenberg, is a transparent plastic case with artwork and credits printed on 3 12" circular transparent collages, one per primary color.
Most copies originally came sealed with a round transparent sticker affixed on the sealing material, on the front at the top right hand corner :

The full-color source material at the bottom of the images page came from a blog post by David Byrne about the project that can be found here.
Runouts are etched except for "STERLING" and the Allied 'ɑ' logo, which are stamped.
