Description
Original LP, deep groove. Maroon label, silver text. All recorded in Chicago. 12 total tracks. 2 tracks recorded in 1954 with leader, Smith, alto sax; RobertDarby, Charlie Wright, tenor sax; Laverne Dillon, piano; Lloyd Anderson, bass; Walter Robinson, drums. 4 tracks from 1955-1957 with Smith, alto sax, Sam Malone, organ; Vernon King, bass; Johnson, drums. Very rare.
Cover: VG(-) 2" split on the top edge at the insert edge; 6" split on the spine. 2" split on the bottom edge. Light aging on the back cover with slight soil from ordinary, handling. Small, minor scratch mark on the back cover. Minor aging on the front cover.
Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. Possibly played only 2 or3 times with care. 2 or 3 very light clicks. Essentially no surface noise. Plays like new. Fine, collectable quality. Audibly checked.
