No scratches. Labels have a couple small, light spindle marks and initials on side two. There is a hardly noticeable warp noticed on the outside edge when playing side one, that does not come close to affecting play. No warp noticed when playing side two.   Play grade:Mint-   The entire album sounded great and played extremely well. No hiss, clicks or skips.   Condition of record cover:VG+ to VG++   Front of cover looks beautiful. Rear shows minor wear/ring wear. Cover has no cuts, holes, tears or writing. No seam splits. Lyric insert is in excellent condition. Notes:From Dave Thompson at allmusic:  "Until he joined John's Children, in March, 1967, Marc Bolan had never even owned an electric guitar. And once he quit the band, it is said, he abandoned it as quickly as everything else which that band represented — freakbeat pop, adrenalined psych, electric soup. In fact, Bolan never lost sight of his electric destiny, even as Tyrannosaurus Rex sawed away on their acoustic toys, a point which producer Tony Visconti cottoned onto the first time he ever saw the duo play, "Marc sitting crosslegged on stage playing his strange little songs in a wobbly voice, while Steve Took was banging on his bongos." Visconti himself was a novice producer, "holding out for something really different and unusual. I thought Marc was perhaps that." He was, and the album which he and Took delivered emphasized all the qualities which Visconti had spotted that night at the UFO club. My People Were Fair approaches the listener from a totally unique angle. The Bolan voice, hardened from the slight warble which carried through his early solo material (still noticeable on the backups he performed for John's Children), remains uncompromising, but it blends so perfectly with the bizarre, almost Eastern-sounding instrumentation that the most lasting impression is of a medieval caravansary whose demented Bedouin cast has suddenly been let loose in a recording studio. It is an irresistible affair, if absolutely a child of its psychedelically-inclined time — "Frowning Atahuallpa" even recruits DJ John Peel to read a Tolkien-esque fairy tale. But one of Bolan's loveliest compositions is here — the gentle and deceptively melodic "Child Star," layered by harmonies which hit you sideways and are all the more mighty for it; one of his weirdest, too, is included, the mutant fairy dance of "Strange Orchestras," which sounds like it was recorded by one. Together with fellow highlights "Chateau in Virginia Waters" and "Graceful Fat Sheba," both are so far ahead of the material Bolan had been composing just a year earlier (subsequently made available on the Hard on Love/Beginning of Doves retrospective), that the inclusion of the "oldies" "Hot Rod Mama" and "Mustang Ford" is almost disappointing. They are, however, the only sour notes sounded on an album whose magic is discernible from so many different angles that it is hard to say which is its most astonishing factor. But it's hard not to be drawn to the actual dynamics of My People Were Fair, the uncanny way Tyrannosaurus Rex take the slightest musical instruments, pixie phones, glockenspiels and a Chinese gong included, to make them sound like the heaviest rock & roll band on the planet. Anyone could play power chords, after all. But who else would play them on acoustic guitar? "

All unsealed LP's are thoroughly inspected and checked for warps on a turntable. Many are then play graded. If played it will be mentioned in the description. All come with a new 3 mil poly outer sleeve for protection. All unsealed LP's also are shipped inside a new inner sleeve.

For U.S. mail shipments, add $4.00 for media mail (no additional charge for shipping each additional LP using media mail on the same order). Priority mail is $7.00, and $2.00 for each additional LP purchased. Maximum of 12 LP's in one shipment. 

All LP's are shipped in sturdy cardboard mailers from "Bags Unlimited" with filler pads larger than the album cover added for protection. Record ships outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

Insurance coverage is also recommended for domestic shipments.

Grading

Mint Record : Perfect record. No marks or defects.

Mint Album cover: Perfect cover. No marks or defects.

M- or NM Record: Nearly perfect. High gloss. At most, a light scuff appears. Plays very well with no surface noise.

M- or NM Album cover: Nearly perfect with only minor signs of wear. There should be no ring wear.

VG++ Record: Very clean. Perhaps some light surface scuffs, no scratches. Should play and look very good with faint, if any, audible surface noise.

VG++ Album cover: Some minor ring wear, but otherwise the artwork should be mostly unaffected. Also, there can be some minor creases in the corners but no splits in seams.

VG+ Record: The record shows signs of use, but plays well despite quite visible surface marks and possibly some light scratches. This grading is often used for records which have not been cared for perfectly but still play well overall. A few very faint clicks may be allowed, and will be included in the description.

VG+ Album cover: May have corners that may be slightly bent, but not broken. There may be wear to the seams but no tears or holes. Perhaps some small writing.  

VG Record: Looks used, light scratches, no gouges. Still plays fairly well. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music.

VG Album cover: There may be seam splitting, but not complete separation of the sleeve panels from each other. There will be noticeable ring wear, but most of the cover should still be in good condition.
