TWINK Think Pink (Sire France 1970 ) Original First Press.
Perhaps the last great UK psych LP of the first psychedelic era. While other less hardy souls had abandoned the quest for psychedelic salvation by 1970, having gone through acid excesses on the drum stool with Tomorrow and The Pretty Things, Twink was still going deeper and further, producing this absolute tripped-out classic. Not only do you get two of the finst pieces of studio psych rock the UK ever produced with 10,000 Words In cardboard Box (a heavy updated version of a track he did in 1968 with the ex Tomorrow bassist as Aquarian Age) and Suicide which is perhaps even better, but you also get weird and twisted sound collages laden with effects, and amongst all the strangeness some great well written songs too. This is the French original and comes in lovely fully laminated sleeve. There is also a 'Super Underground' hype sticker which I have left on because I think it looks great, but I'm sure it would come off easily if you wanted given the sleeve is laminated.
Grading
Vinyl: VG+ Decent copy with only light marks under strong light. Plays with a little surface noise and crackle here and there, but a pretty nice copy overall playing EX for the most part.
Sleeve: VG+ Nice fully laminated sleeve, which makes the colours look much more vivid than the UK or US issue matt sleeves. Has light general age wear, but no obvious faults and still looks very nice.
Grading
M- As new, no marks of any kind whatsoever.
EX Perhaps a few featherlight whispy marks, but no scratches or deterioration in sound
VG+ Some light marks on the vinyl, but nothing that should cause clicks or pops, just occasional light surface noise.
VG Some heavier marks and maybe a few scratches that will cause some noise, but will still be a very enjoyable listen with definitely no sticks or skips or constant surface noise.

Postage within UK is £4.50 which includes 'signed for' post for any number of LPs. We will post worldwide, but records must be sent fully insured and to be 'signed for'.This will be £12 for within the European Union and £15 for the rest of the world for any number of records.
