Description
This is a very rare and one of the ULTIMATE in DIY PUNK single by the UK band THE TWILIGHT ZONERS from 1979. AN ORIGINAL, AND A MUST !!!.
Here's the story: the band made 20 different sleeves for this single (this one is variation number 12), each one limited to between 20-35 copies, some sleeves were SILK SCREENED (like this copy) and some were photo copies, all copies were hand numbered (this one is number 3 out of 35), and signed by the artist (this one is hand signed by MARS) hence creating one of the most sought after and hardest to find singles.
The single also gets 3 and a half stars (out of possible 5) for rarity in Mario Panciera's amazing book "45 Revolutions".
This single is one of the best example of the DIY PUNK ethic of the late 70's early 80's and would fit on one of the MESSTHETICS / H2D type compilations if it hasn't been comped already.
This single came out on the band's own ZIP / DINING OUT Records, catalogue number ZERO ZERO 1.
The single does not come up for sale very often, so don't let it get away.
The songs are: HOSPITAL / THE WARP / TWISTER / THE FILM.
The single comes with the original FOLD OVER SILK SCREENED AND NUMBERED AND SIGNED picture sleeve, and The condition of the VINYL is EX++, P/S is M-.
