Nelly Kim Furtado ComIH (/fɜːrˈtɑːdoʊ/; Portuguese: [fuɾˈtaðu]; born December 2, 1978) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and record producer.
She first gained fame with her trip hop-inspired debut album, Whoa, Nelly! (2000), which was a critical and commercial success that spawned two top-10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, "I'm Like a Bird" and "Turn Off the Light". The first of the two singles won her a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Furtado's introspective folk-heavy 2003 second album, Folklore, explored her Portuguese roots. Its singles received moderate success in Europe, but the album's underperformance compared to her debut was regarded as a sophomore slump.
Furtado's third album, Loose (2006), was a smash hit and became her best selling album with more than 12 million copies sold worldwide, also making it one of the best selling albums of the 2000s.[7] Considered a radical image reinvention, Furtado continued to explore her Latin heritage while leaning heavier into hip hop. The album spawned four successful number-one singles worldwide; "Promiscuous", "Maneater", "Say It Right", and "All Good Things (Come to an End)". Her Timbaland collaboration "Give It to Me" (2007) in the same era also topped the charts in the US and overseas. Furtado's critically acclaimed duet with James Morrison, "Broken Strings", also topped the charts in Europe in 2008

I’ve bought and sold on eBay since 1997 – collecting and selling just about everything – if you’re looking for something let me know, I’m preparing to downsize portions of my collections and a large portion of my proceeds will be going to my daughter’s (aka: Little Nubby) college fund. Please check out my eBay store. Many great and interesting items will be listed…
I treat everyone fairly and my feedback shows that. Special requests, wish lists and all inquiries will be answered to the best of my ability. I may not an absolute expert on anything, but I’m pretty knowledgeable about a lot of things….
Shipping Notes:
- I try to get everything out the next available postal day after payment clears, but my ‘day job’ is very hectic and chaotic from time to time so there might be a couple days delay until I can get to the post office. Further with the Federal closing of smaller post offices (mine included), it might take a couple extra days to arrive.
- If you need it quickly, just ask and I usually have no problem accommodating your wishes.
- I combine shipping.
- I sell and ship internationally. However, once it leaves the United States, buyers assume the risk of the package getting there, if it makes it to that country intact, which is more than fair. Blame France for that one.....
Shipping rates vary due to location of where the item is being sent. If I offer free shipping on any items it is for the United States only unless noted.
Other Legal-eze:
- I offer a money back guarantee provided I get the item back in the condition it was sent and it’s within 30 days of receipt of said item.
- Payment must be made thru Paypal (per eBay). Unless you are local and can pick the item up. There are other arrangements that can be made if necessary – feel free to ask.
Happy Hunting and Thank You for your time looking at my ‘trinkets’!
