Tumblack - 1978 - Barclay - France.

Debut album by french west-indian combo named "Tumblack" to refer to typical rythms from west indies. Recorded during the year 1978 for french Label Barclay on "Paco Rabanne" limited série. Tumblack plays tradional drums called "Gwo Ka" in different level Bass, Medium & chorus. The first side is afro-centric "drums + chants". Focus on B side mixing caribbean rhytms with spacy disco beat, backed by french band called "Arpadys", Jacques Bolognesi, Toni Russo(Trp), yves Hayat (synth). Music speaks better than words… listen to the soundclip !
