CONCERTO PER UN FILM “L’ARMA"
ORIGINAL ITALIAN 1st PRESS, CAROSELLO RECORDS (CLN 25080) STEREO. Tullio de Piscopo don’t need any introduction as drummer, he plays the Hypercussion drums set in this album. Let’s start with the smashing disco funk “Black Star” with a killer drum breaks in the middle and “Temptation”, another synth disco funk with long lo-fi percussions intro, the jazz folk rock “Accattate o’mbrello” with a very distinctive Napoli Centrale sound. My very favorite is the massive drumming track “Mbriachete tu” with various tempo arrangements. Music arranged by Nando De Luca and Sante Palumbo, featuring several important musicians like Alberto Radius, Julius Farmer, Giorgio Baiocco, percussionist Georghe Aghedo and Sergio Farina just to name a few! Recommended!
