Pair of TELEFUNKEN **ECC83** tubes ...
Both tubes with the Diamond <> in the bottom glass, ribbed plates and date codes starting with letter B for Berlin manufacturing plant ...very rare pair of original Telefunken ECC833 (12AX7)) "Made in Germany" in the 1950s/60s(?) ... fantastic audio twin triode! Both tubes are obviously new as they come from a larger set I acquired from a retired Munich electrician some years ago... They do not come in original Telefunken boxes, as the electrician got the stock in bulk and I was assured that they have not been in use, except maybe once or twice for testing purpose. I am no electrician or technical expert, but I am using pairs from the same collection in my own Jadis pre-amps / amps for years now, and I find that these Telefunken ECC83 are the best sounding and far superior vs. e.g. Valvo, Siemens, Philips, Mullard and other equivalents ... collectors and audiophiles alike appreciate the most balanced sound with excellent bass line, smooth midrange and extremely extended in the high-end...
