TUBBY HAYES QUARTET Tubby's Groove LP

Original 1960 UK 6-track vinyl LP. It is considered one of the rarest Jazz LPs of all time! Original 1960 pressing, on purple and white 'deep groove' Tempo Records labels with 'Made In England' label text. Comes housed in a fully laminated 'West Brothers' flipback sleeve. Original poly-lined inner sleeve also included in the set.
CONDITION
The labels are EXCELLENT+. A clean and unblemished set with just a handful of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
The disc is in a VG++ / EXCELLENT condition. Both playing surfaces are clean and bright with a respectable gloss finish retained. Moreover, there is no groove-whitening caused by overplay or poor storage. Careful inspection in strong daylight reveals a handful of light surface marks per side, but there is nothing I would call a scratch.
The sound quality can be assessed as NM. As with almost all copies, there is a pressing fault causing a low noise at the intro of 'Tin Tin Deo'. It cannot be overlooked that both playing surfaces sound amazing. My single careful play check at volume detected absolutely no traces of grooves/playwear distortions on any track or in either channel. It must be additionally pointed out that the entire album is free from any kind of background interference, There is not a single click or pop to be heard at any point while listening to the album. I am more than sure that you will not be disappointed with the incredible sound on this well-looked after 1st pressing.
