This is an original 1st issued GARROD & LOFTHOUSE flip back cover. due to it's 42 years age , it has become a little worn and marked ( mainly the corners and some light grubby marks on the rear ! but still all intact and not torn or covered in writing ! if you after a nice up-grade then this is not the cover for you ! but if you want an original copy it's still average and presentable ( see-pics) VERY GOOD CONDITION !
VINYL
Both sides are in super condition, there are a couple of faint scuffs - surface marks visable on side 2 but nothing that affects the audio quality , very deep glossy shine on both sides ! upon playing both sides play through very well with nothing more than some very light background noise on the odd ocassion (low) , this has been very well cared for and is a fine example of this classic album in the rarer Mono and with first mother /stamp (1G/1G) which is the earliest pressing you will find ( one of the first 300 off the press !!!! ) very hard to find one of these earliest presses especially in this condition ! great example both visualy and audibly in EXCELLENT CONDITION
LABELS Both labels are in very clean condition ! with NO writing , stickers or marks ! There are some light spindle traces but only a couple and only visable in angled viewing ! super clean set EXCELLENT CONDITION ! LYRIC INSERT Also still has the card inlay with the tracks lyrics and pictures including the legend DR PEEL ! This is in nice clean shape with just two small niks in the edge , otherwise it's in great shape (see-pics) INNER Also has the original plain white inner sleeve with the Made in Gt Britain texting ! which apart from some light creasing is in very clean shape ! EXCELLENT CONDITION RARE CHANCE TO OWN A VERY EARLIEST PRESSING OF MUSIC HISTORY, WHICH IS COMPLETE AND APART FROM THE COVER NOT BEING IN THE BEST CONDITION , IT'S STILL VERY WORTHY AND THE VINYL, LABELS, INNER, AND INSERT ARE ALL IN NICE CONDITION !
