Description
T-REX - 'METAL GURU' b/w 'THUNDERWING'/'LADY'
This is a genuine UK 2-sided, 3-track EMI white label test pressing of their 4th (and final) UK number from May 1972.
The side 1 label bears the disc's title, catalogue number & group's name handwritten in black felt-tip pen.
Matrix numbers: Y MARC 1A-2U & Y MARC 1 B-1U
'BOBIL' & 'AUNTY B' is hand-etched into each respective run-out.
Stamper codes: 1/G & 1/G (the earliest possible combination).
The disc is housed in a replacement plain white sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Both are fully intact with just two small marks on side 1 and a small handful of spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean & unworn playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight and reveal just a few barely visible wispy paper-type hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen light desk lamp.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
Played just a handful of times on broadcast-quality equipment only, the sound quality on both sides is unworn and as fresh and exciting as it has ever been.
