Description

Ultra rare promo copy of The Tropics- Time/ Time's Gone Away 45 RPM on Columbia label #4-43976.
The Tropics were a garage rock band from Tampa, Florida in the mid to late 1960's. The cut several singles for various labels, but never produced an LP. This is perhaps the most sought after of those singles.
Record Grading:
Vinyl: G- Good. Light scratches/brush marks present on both sides. Hard to photograph, so please examine pictures closely. Side A (Time) appears to have some discoloration of the vinyl that appear like a hard water stain. See pictures.
Sleeve- Generic new white sleeve.
Play Grade- VG. Overall, this record plays nicely with some noise & ticks in quiet parts. No skips on either side. For about 2-3 revolutions on side A, that stain causes a bit of noise that quickly dissipates as the record plays. The recording and bass response on this 45 are amazing.
Please examine the record pictures carefully and ask any questions you may have prior to purchase. What you see is what you get. I typically don't sell records that fall below VG+, but this one is very rare and I want to offer it up any way
