Description
PEATLORE F-V 23267-1. TROLLS - WALKIN' SHOES / HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO TRUST YOU? 7". Original 1966 garage rock! Vinyl looks excellent. Labels slightly unglued which reveal another trolls label underneath. Please bid with confidence.
Impossibly rare -- depriving listeners of an underground classic -- is the Trolls' pairing of "Walkin' Shoes" b/w "How Do You Expect Me to Trust You?" (Peatlore 23267, 1966). "Shoes," a harmonica-laced shuffle, features a hypnotic beat and compelling vocal (half sneer, half world-weary sigh), while "Trust" wraps that mystic voice in robes of rainy-day reflection. Both tunes sprang from the pen of Jim McPherson. The Trolls comprised either a power trio or quartet -- the group's actual lineup seems lost in the mists of time. Payment: We expect payment within 5 days of auctions close. If you will not be able to make payment within this time frame, please do NOT bid. Sometimes exceptions can be made, providing you contact us prior to bidding. If you are waiting for an additional auction of ours to close, in order to combine shipping and payment, this is of course fine - we simply ask that you let us know that, ASAP.
In accordance with eBay's new policies, we can now only accept Paypal as a form of payment.
Shipping: All domestic and international shipping is done through the USPS, unless otherwise specified.
Domestic packages are shipped Media Mail w/delivery confirmation, unless otherwise specified. Delivery time with Media Mail is usually 7 days from ship date, but has been known to take over 2 weeks in some cases, please be aware of this.
Priority Mail is available upon request, you may contact us for a quote. Please understand shipping rates are determined by weight and location. If you are on the east coast, you may expect Priority Mail shipping to be $8-$9 for a single LP.
International packages under 4 lbs. (ie. 1-3 LPs) are shipped First Class International. Please understand that tracking and insurance are not offered by the USPS with this class of mail. Other international shipping methods are available, though substantially more expensive. We have been shipping FCI for years (as do most sellers) and have never had a package undelivered.
International packages 4 lbs. or more are shipped Priority Mail International. Tracking (to most destinations) and insurance (at a fee) are available with this class of mail. For more info please check the USPS website.
We ship once a week - Friday morning. Paid items are packed Wednesday & Thursday. Therefore, we recommend prompt payment to insure same-week shipping and thus the fastest possible delivery. We schedule most of our auctions to close on Mondays, in order to provide ample time for payment. Please be aware that items paid for AFTER Thursday morning will most likely ship the Friday of the following week.
We pack our items carefully. LP's are removed from jackets, packed in sturdy cardboard mailers specifically designed for LPs, and secured with bubble wrap and other insulation. Double-boxing is available upon request, though additional charges for materials and weight will apply.
We are happy to combine multiple items in a single shipment. Again, if you are a winning bidder, please let us know if your waiting for an additional auction to close before shipping. Additional shipping charges for single LPs are $.50 each/media, $2 each/priority or $3 each/international. Limit 3 single LPs (ie. 4 lbs.) for international shipping at these rates. Does not include dbl LPs or box sets. If you are unsure how to calculate postage, please wait for an invoice, which will be sent promptly.

See second photo. A-side label is partially unglued revealing a DIFFERENT (blue) Trolls label underneath. The Fuzz, Acid & Flowers Guide lists a different pressing on the EU label. Both pressings have the same catalog # 23267, which appears in the runoff. Our guess is that this is actually the earlier EU pressing re-labeled by Peatlore. In any case, a GREAT and GREAT SOUNDING 45 that does not get comped very often!
