The Gospel returns with another adventurous release from label head Tro, who dives deep into hypnotic, hardware-driven grooves. The EP opens with 'Sauna of Bitch,' a high-energy blend of pounding drum machines and twisting acid lines softened by dreamy pads. 'Maybe European' follows with a darker, more brooding edge by fusing electro textures and progressive flourishes with eerie spoken-word passages. On the B-side, Toronto's Cosmic JD and Aaron Santos come together under their Los Primos alias to rework 'Lost in Tres Leches' into a lush, analogue-drenched trip. Their remix adds warmth and depth and contrasts with the minimal, psychedelic original perfectly.
