TRIZO 50 Demo LP VG+
RARE Original Cavern Custom Records 740142
Vinyl: Noticeable scuffing, some light scratches, but minimal surface noise. There are some “bumps” that were part of the pressing, but they do not affect the quality of the record. It sounds great. VG+
Cover: Side spine is strong, but top and bottom edges each have an 8” split on the right. Back cover has one address covered with magic marker. The front cover has wrinkles. Why? Because we applied the covers ourselves. They were just big crack-and-peels, and really hard to manage. We eventually got the hang of it.
NOTE ABOUT THE RECORDING: Recorded on the TEAC 2340 4-track in two makeshift studios in Norborne, we mixed it on a 16 track machine at Cavern Studios in KCMO. (So, 12 un-used tracks.) Multiple volume adjustments and all the pans were done in one take. I don’t know where the records were pressed but it took four months for them to arrive, and we had essentially broken up by then. But we’d made 50 (maybe 100, I don’t remember, but no more than that), so we sent them out to L.A. just the same. And here we are. J
