T-Rex - MEGA RARE - Telegram Sam b/w Cadilac / Baby Strange
Rhodesian Pressed 7" Single !!!
This is possibly one of the RAREST of the many commercially released T-Rex 7" Singles I have sold on Ebay. It is very RARE and hard find in South Africa (impossible now in Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia) because of the goings on there) so even RARER in the UK.
T-REX & MARC BOLAN RHODESIAN & ZIMBABWE PRESSINGS ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND. THEY WERE MADE FOR THE MAINLY EUROPEAN POPULATION THEN RE-CYCLED AGAIN DUE TO VINYL SHORTAGES. ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES WERE PRESSED OF THIS DISC!
Issued on the EMI Record label in Rhodesia (and pressed on the exclusive red and white EMI label!!!). This is the ORIGINAL issue from 1972 on EMI!
The disc is housed in an African company sleeve (made typically of re-cycled paper). The Catalogue Number is TREX 101 !!
The label has also been stamped on the B-Side 'Sample Record - Not For Re-Sale' by EMI in Rhodesia ... making it all the more collectable!

Spot the unique paper label and fonts on the label which are different to any other release of 'Telegram Sam'!
The Vinyl is in Excellent condition. The company sleeve is also in Excellent condition.
Crazy starting price of £15 with no reserve!!!
You may never see this Rhodesian pressing again, certainly not in this condition so grab it while you can!
