UK FIRST PRESSING ORANGE CBS VINYL LP WITH ORIGINAL CBS ORANGE INNER SLEEVE.
STAMPERS: S- 64168 A1 / B1
SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+ TO PERHAPS EXCELLENT MINUS. OVERALL A CLEAN SLEEVE WITH THE FOLLOWING DEFECTS:
MINOR RING WEAR, LIGHT EDGE WEAR, A FEW LIGHT EDGE CREASES AND CORNER BUMPS, SCUFFING ALONG BOTTOM SEAM. NO WRITING OR MARKS, A PRETTY DECENT SLEEVE THAT HAS STOOD THE TEST OF TIME WELL.
DISC: NEAR MINT MINUS. BOTH SIDES PLAY AND SOUND SUPERB. THERE ARE A FEW VERY LIGHT HAIRLINES, NONE OF WHICH ARE SCRATCHES. THE LABELS ARE CLEAN WITH JUST MINOR EVIDENCE OF SPINDLE WEAR. THIS IS A WELL-LOOKED AFTER COPY, THE BEST WE HAVE SEEN FOR MANY-A-YEAR, AND SHOULD SATISY ANYONE BUT A PERFECTIONIST. THIS IS A SPLENDID FIRST PRESSING, THEY ARE BECOMING HARDER AND HARDER TO FIND THESE DAYS AS THIS FOLK-PSYCH BAND HAS BECOME EXTREMELY HIP. AURALLY THIS FIRST PRESSING SOUNDS SO MUCH FULLER THAN THE HORRIBLY COMPRESSED CD ISSUES AND THE LAUGHABLE VINYL REISSUES. WE WOULD RECOMMEND A VPI TYPE CLEAN WITH DISC DOCTOR FLUIDS BEFORE YOUR FIRST PLAY OF THIS ALBUM, WHICH WOULD BRIGHTEN UP THE SOUND EVEN MORE, AND PROTECT YOUR STYLUS AND LP INVESTMENT.
