EXTREMELY rare psych folk lp.. and in collector's condition. this is the second time i've listed this (as it didn't meet reserve price last time).. so this time no reserve has been set. trees debut lp on UK CBS 1970, original first pressing (stereo, cat # S63837, matrix stamps A1 / B1). "the garden of jane delawney". apologies for lack of picture... so i will give as detailed a description as i can.. & in view of the price of this album, i have been as conservative as possible in grading.. the condition is FANTASTIC, guaranteed satisfaction or £ back.. the picture sleeve (with the terraced house & tree with roots on front) is in vg++/excellent condition. at first inspection there are NO obvious flaws. a really close look shows the VERY lightest possible shelfwear to bottom edge. certainly nothing approaching fraying or splits. the spine and top edge are near perfect & the corners are still sharp. there is a TINY & slight discolouration to bottom right corner, less than 1cm. VERY slight impression of scratch on back of sleeve, but the surface has not been broken & you can only notice this if tilting the sleeve to catch the light. i can't reaally see anyhting else which seperates the sleeve from "as new" condition. the labels (orange with black text) are very clean; few very light spindle marks on b-side, barely anything on the a-side. at first glance the vinyl would easily pass for mint- with fantastic gloss & perfect sheen. i have inspected closely for flaws, tilting it under naked 100w light bulb. the a-side has some very light paper scuffs, really just from removing/ replacing it from inner sleeve. the b-side has even fewer surface marks but one TINY hairline scratch, less than 1cm.. it produces some very slight background clicks during track "epitaph". other than that the lp has next to no background noise at all.. i have listened to whole lp with the volume quite high & can guarantee a superb sound quality. basically this copy looks as if it's hardly been played & is as close to mint- as i can offer without being able to actually grade it mint-! tracklist; nothing special, the great silkie, the garden of jane delawney, lady margaret, glasgerion, she moved thro' the fair, epitaph, snail's lament.
