Released in 1970.
RECORD VERY GOOD.
SLEEVE VERY GOOD.
INNER PAPER SLEEVE VERY GOOD.

The Record plays through very well on both sides. The record has been professionally cleaned before sale. There is some light background noise detected, although this is mainly restricted to lead-ins of where needle has dropped, (which is common on older records that have been played), it is noticable on the quieter sections, gaps between tracks, lead ins,etc. The occassional odd click may be detected, but no skips or jumps. There are some very light surface marks clearly visible under a strong light. Certainly a very acceptable first pressing example of this classic record.
The Labels are both very good, however, being white tend to show light aging and minor spindle marking under bright light, there is no wear to the centre hole, there is no writing and there are no stickers on the labels. Clean off white original labels, please see photos.
The Sleeve is in very good condition, gatefold with a matt surface finish. First pressing Sleeve designed by Phil Travers. Due to being a matt surface finish the sleeve has some light surface wear, there is surface edge wear and wear to extreme corner edges. Small label removal surface mark, touched in, quite invisible and not really noticable, to top left corner. The spine is very good, some surface edge wear, most of title text still intact, light tiny creases to sleeve. The opening edges are quite sharp and free from wear. Very clean internal gatefold. All round a very good sleeve. Original Garrod and Lofthouse Sleeve.
Original Decca issue Blue stereo paper inner sleeve, some aging, tiny split very centre of bottom edge seam, no tears or creasing. Made in England sleeve in excellent condition.
