Description
On offer a respectable vinyl copy of this rare and much sought after debut album from Super Group TRAFFIC, Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood and Dave Mason. This original Mono VINYL 1st issue was released during 1967 on the pink ISLAND Records label (with the black circle logo) ILP 961 with the matrixes 1+A/1+B.
CONDITION: The vinyl has retained a good deep gloss, when examined under a strong light one can see some paper scuff marks along with a few light scratches, when played there is a small amount surface noise which is only audible to the run ins and between tracks; the record plays throughout with an excellent reproduced sound quality. The textured labels have nothing worse than a small number of feint spindle trace lines. The gatefold outer sleeve is laminated on the outer surfaces only, there are exposed flip backs to the top and bottom of the inner right hand side. The cover has noticeable scuffs and feathering to edges, there is some corner creasing plus the spine shows a 1/2" split to the top and bottom, there exist signs of discolouration to the matt finished inside surfaces.
I have rated the condition of the vinyl (visual & audio) VERY GOOD with the cover being down graded to GOOD. I use the Record Collectors grading system.
