TRAFFIC - John Barleycorn Must Die; Germany 1970, Island Records 6339 016, promotional LP / test pressing,  gatefold cover with raw 'burlap' finish.


Remarks

German white label promotional / test pressing for the Traffic 'John Barleycorn' album on the German pink Island label. Deep groove glossy pressing of this great album. Labels are pristine clean and without any marks.

This test pressing album also comes in the very first version of the heavy gatefold cover by printers Carl v.d. Linnepe, featuring a thick, very raw and textured kind of burlap finish. Later covers also done by v.d. Linnepe are lighter and with a smoother finish. Spine of thick outer layer paper partly worn/split.

First pressing ever! Very rare German promotional pressing.

Condition  vinyl:  very good to very good++ (great vinyl - great sound,not played,some hairline scratches and crackling)
