I purchased this LP in 1988 the day after I saw her open for Toots & The Maytals in Cincinnati.  Know one had know idea who she was and we were all blown away.  She stood there on stage alone in black jeans and a black sweatshirt and sang her heart out.  It was great to see her out at the Grammy's.
