Hello and thank you for checking out my listings.  I am a lifelong record-head who's selling his archives of about 4,000 lps out of sheer and terrifying financial duress, so my asking prices are towards the top end of what I think is reasonable.  Most listings will be open to offers.

TOWNES VAN ZANDT - SELF TITLED 1978 Tomato TOM 7014 LP EX/EX
On his third album, Townes Van Zandt recut three crucial tracks from his debut album, "For The Sake Of The Song," "Waiting Around To Die," and "I'll Be Here In The Morning." It was some indication of the obscurity in which he remained enveloped, but no indication of the quality of his work. (Actually, Van Zandt rerecorded songs from his first album on his later ones because he disliked the earlier recordings.) As usual, his closely observed lyrics touched on desperate themes, notably in tbe mining ballad "Lungs," but they were still highly poetic, especially the album-closing "None But The Rain," which reflected on a failed relationship. Van Zandt's finger-picking was augmented by spare arrangements, usually featuring one added instrument for color, such as a fiddle or flute.
In May of 2018 I racked up $100,000 worth of credit card debt making my first feature film entitled: WRETCH.  If you're interested in 80's sci-fi/horror/arthouse cinema and the work of David Lynch, you might consider renting my film on Amazon iTunes or most streaming platforms.  You can watch the trailer here:  https://youtu.be/pgkm_0AEsH8

On May 31st I was in a bicycle accident and shattered my right wrist and now I have a mountain of hospital bills to pay for because I wasn't insured.

That's my sob story.  Most of the listings are going to be pretty straightforward with one to four pics of the album in question and I've done my best to grade fairly and accurately.  I used to work in a record store and I use pretty standard grading methods: POOR/FAIR/G/VG/VG+/EX/NM.  In my listings, the condition of the album is listed first (VG) / the condition of the jacket is listed second (G) = VG/G I am erring on the side of grading fairly conservatively in most instances.
If you need to see more pictures let me know and I'll take some for you and send through direct messenger.  I encourage anyone who wants to purchase multiple albums to message me with your proposal, we can try to work out a discount.
I will be shipping out all sold albums weekly on Saturdays. So, if you buy, and pay for, a record from me on Monday, you'll have to wait a few extra days...unless you need it rushed and in that case you can reach out to me and we can make other arrangements. Since I am unemployed right now and I have this broken wrist things are going slowly but I am around and available to respond to inquiries and offers readily.

All sales will be final. If you receive your album and you think I was horrendously off and my grading, we can discuss.  I WILL OFFER A COMBINED SHIPPING DISCOUNT ON MULTIPLE LPS. Shipping costs takes supplies and USPS Media Mail rate into account.

So keep checking back as I'll be listing new albums all through August and September until everything is up online.  And please, if you like 80s sci-fi and horror films offbeat quirky surreal and absurdist stuff, please consider checking out my feature film and help spread the word, it'll help me a ton.
Thank you very much,
-Matthew
