Description

Townes' debut LP from 1968 on the original MGM-distributed Poppy label.  Stereo stock copy.  Cover art by Milton Glaser.  Complete with original MGM 'The Sounds of "Now"' inner sleeve!  Song order on side 2 is different from that listed on the cover and the label ("Talkin' Karate Blues" is really track 5).  Co-produced by "Cowboy" Jack Clement, liner notes by Mickey Newbury.  Includes the original versions of several songs which he re-recorded on subsequent LPs.  Cover shows a bit of ring wear and has a small split on bottom.  Vinyl looks NM but has typical surface noise of a 1968 MGM pressing.
