Description
- Tower Of Power released their self-titled third album "Tower Of Power" in May 1973 on Warner Bros. Records. It peaked at No. 15 on the album charts and became the band's best selling album thanks to the hits "So Very Hard To Go" and "What Is Hip." It was their first record with future SNL band leader Lenny Pickett added as the third sax player.
- This copy of (BS 2681) is in excellent condition and still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap firmly attached and includes the unused Iron-On Sticker "Oakland - They Done Found The Stroke.." which can be applied to a T-shirt. This copy has the Burbank disc labels and is in Near-Mint condition. Please see the pictures. It test plays cleanly and is easily VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was recorded and mixed by Jim Gaines and this copy was pressed in 1974 at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The Side One dead wax is etched BS-2681 40385-A 1A B4 1S.

- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 48 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
