Description

Up for sale is a rare Tejano Latin Funk LP.  The jacket receives a grade of VG+ due to the ring wear and bumps on the corners, but you will want to purchase this LP for the SENSATIONAL tunes on it, especially the 4th Latin Funk track on Side 1 titled "COOKIN" by the legendary group Tortilla Factory!  If it has been awhile since you have heard this tune, or have never heard this tune, do yourself a favor and go to youtube.com and search "Tortilla Factory - Cookin"...you will be blown away by these incredibly talented musicians, as this funk genre song is a 5:39 masterpiece!!  This LP was recorded and pressed in 1977 on the GCP Records label out of San Antonio, Texas.  The labels are very, very nice, and the vinyl has the expected very light superficial surface scratches and rub marks that one sees on an LP that was released in 1977, but this is a very clean record, as can be seen by the photos.  There is minimal background noise at the intro of each song, but once the songs begin, it's all sensational music by some extremely talented musicians...VG++ on both sides of the vinyl.  I don't have professional record cleaning equipment, and if you do, the minimal background noise should be decreased quite a bit once you clean the LP.  Thanks for having a look at this listing, and good luck if you choose to bid on this super rare LP.
