Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. CLEAN = WIDE RANGE SOUND = "ROYAL SOUND" German original 1972 first pressing in nice laminated gatefold sleeve on the highly collected DECCA RECORDS label...one of the GREAT Savoy Brown albums.... Highlighted by the powerful epic title track, “Hellbound Train" is certainly the standout song from this release, and back in the day the song got a lot of FM underground radio airplay...it's quite impressive to listen to as Savoy Brown stroll through nearly every rock and blues genre there is, building the song, allowing it to ebb and flow for an epic ride.

The rest of the songs are drenched with Savoy Brown's sleek, bluesy feel and deliver a strong edge on tracks like "Lost and Lonely Child," "Doin' Fine," and "If I Could See an End," ... Other tracks on the album bounce along with blues, rock, and boogie cookers ... no easy task to master and there are few bands who do it much better. Savoy Brown were one of those transitional groups, a band who stepped out of the psychedelic 60’s, and into the 70’s, standing assuredly in two era’s without sounding dated, or struggling to fit in with the musical changes that were taking place all around them in '72. They only thing that kept Savoy Brown from rising to greater fame was the mellow California sounds that were beginning to take root with collectors, but Savoy Brown held onto their ground, standing in juxtaposition to the coming trend, and keeping the spirit of rock alive and cookin’ ...

CONDITION: The cover: Richly laminated gatefold is 40 years old around the corner and still very collectible "EX" (excellent) having only a little visual light handling, and collection worthy with no upgrade needed...noi split seams and soild in and out.... 

The vinyl: very clean over both sides, TOP M- looks and pl;ays to the top...both Royal Sound Decca labels are clean 

keeper!
