PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Hard to find THIS clean ... this was a popular "party" record in the mid sixties and most originals were played to death and long gone, plus the dark cover if found is usually dull of shelf wear ...here then, a survivor = CLEAN (see details below)
The Wailers (aka the Fabulous Wailers), an abundantly talented band of high schoolers from the Tacoma, Washington area, comprised John Greek (guitar, cornet), Rich Dangel (lead guitar), Kent Morrill (piano and vocals), Mark Marush (tenor saxophone) and Mike Burk (drums). In a quiet moment, when the Beatles were overrunning America in 1964, Some said that the Wailers could have been the American equivalent of the Liverpool mop-tops. “Tall Cool One” made No. 38 on Billboard. In his book, “Sonic Boom: The History of Northwest Rock,” Peter Blecha wrote: “The Wailers simply had a rock ‘n’ roll sound like nothing else around – and bands in the Northwest, across the country, and even in England loved them.” He quoted the Beatles’ George Harrison as having the LP “since day one.” Certainly, the Wailers’ influence on the Northwest scene, surf music, garage rock and beyond is incontestable. Here's a MINTY CLEAN ORIGINAL COLLECTION WORTHY COPY of the Wailers' Imperial album from the mid '60s. Frustrated with their deal with the New York label, the group went into the studio, recut their "TALL COOL ONE" hit, and packaged it with a brace of loose workouts and a trio of vocals. Included is the original Northwest cut of "Louie Louie," featuring an inspired vocal by the legendary Rockin' Robin Roberts, being the version that inspired the Kingsmen and launched a million frat bands worldwide. Another chapter in the history of this very important and influential Northwest rock & roll band.A MUST HAVE FOR GARAGE COLLECTORS... CONDITION: The Cover: Syiff and solid all over, near "EX" (excellent) front has only a minor bit of shelf wear starting, nothing much at all, the dark cover is always with much wear = so this copy is a real survivor and all of 48 years old...
The Vinyl: all shiny over both sides, visually near "EX" (excellent) may have whispy soft hair scuff(s), but clearly CLEAN grooves, plays minty audio all enjoyable
