 *** ATTENTION!***

Please carefully read our entire listing to answer any questions you may have,  including discount shipping rates at end of listing; then contact us directly with any other information you may need.

WITH MUCH APPRECIATION TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS:  If you have a question on orders received, please contact us.  We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.   When leaving Feedback, please consider the following:  eBay's policy on the 5-star rating system is anything less than a 5  reduces our standing with eBay and ultimately can affect our selling abilities.   SO please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music!  We have served thousands of satisfied customers  - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records.   Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of  2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.

We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays.  Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday.   We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.  We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order.  Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERS:  We are happy to hold orders to save on shipping.  Please pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and, if you request, we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.

As always, thank you for your support!

BEAUTIFUL...*best* copy found in ages....MINTY CLEAN 1969 first pressing in thick grainy gatefold cover of the very first ALLMAN BROTHERS album ...

The Allman Brothers debut album is one of their best albums. Considering much of what was happening in the music scene in 1969, this album is an enormous breath of fresh air. Some , call it southern rock, but that is just a surface tag name one can easily hear a new twist on hard blues music that is just fabulous. Two lead guitars, two drummers, one awesomely unique voice credit Gregg Allman, with a sound unlike any other group at the time. The Allman Brothers Band goes beyond just great musicianship, it also includes excellent songwriting, mostly at the hands of Gregg Allman. This albums most popular track, “Whipping Post,” is one of Gregg’s finest songwriting achievements. one they would extend with heated passion in their concerts.

Tracks one and two are essentially one large track as “Don’t Want You No More” leads right into the great, “It’s Not My Cross to Bear” -- a perfect example of how to incorporate both ends of the dynamic spectrum. The soft parts are accentuated by light guitars and passionate vocals. The middle part of the album is excellent, including three Allman Bros classics and highlighted by the timeless groove, “Dreams.” Pushing seven and a half minutes of embracing energy, filled with a great memorable melody and delicious Duane guitar solos. “Whipping Post” is the standout on this album. The opening theme is performed in nonstandard time; 11/4 with great lyrics, great vocals, organ work that is light but enhances the other instruments, and great transitions, Duane & Betts burn through trade off guitar solos that climax in heated frenzy.

Fans of classic rock and blues rock should enjoy this album.
