THIS IS NOT THE CALENDER SECOND PRESSING, BUT THE ORIGINAL 1965 ' SUNSHINE ' LABEL 1st PRESSING. THIS IS THEIR 1ST ALBUM AND ALSO THEIR HARDEST TO FIND, AND IN MY OPINION THE BEST ONE OF THEM ALL. ON SIDE 1 YOU HAVE TONY WORSLEY WITH THE BLUE JAYS AND ON SIDE 2 YOU HAVE JUST THE BLUE JAYS DOING THEIR THING, WHICH IS SOME VOCAL AND INSTRUMENTALS. 8 TRACKS PER SIDE, RARE FOR 1965!!
This is an Australian pressing on the SUNSHINE label, cat no: QL-31634
VINYL : VERY GOOD +, some light hairline scratches on both sides. Plays through loud and clear with some light crackling and the occasional popping.
COVER : VERY GOOD +, laminated front cover has ring marking, foxing, and some creases that are around the edges, mostly down the spine edge. Also a couple of bend type creases on front. The back has a lot of foxing and ring marking and a name written on top left corner, and a stamp at bottom that says, ' FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY '. Also on back, 12 cm down from top on left at the opening there is a small tear about 6 mm long. The back has other various light bends and creases here and there. Also has shop stamp on the inside of cover.
LABELS : EXCELLENT, some light spindle marks both sides. Side 1 has a SAMPLE stamp and a couple of old price marks written in pen at the top of label.
