Private pressing Limited edition as stated in liner notes, never sold in stores.
Released in 1965, as it mentions this was released to mark the 50th anniversary of New York's Women's City Club, an organization founded in 1915.
Cover art by Tracy Sugarman. Quote on front cover is by Walt Whitman. "Prepared for an exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art, presented by the women's city club at their 50th anniversary exhibition of art reflecting aspects of life in New York City over the last 50 years"

These records were made for friends of Tony Schwartz and there are not many (if any) of these floating around. A cool item for NYC historians, field recording enthusiasts and record collectors alike.

SALE CONDITIONS FOR SEALED RECORDS:
Sealed records are sold as stated in unplayed condition. We cannot accept returns of sealed records under any circumstances unless they are still sealed as shipped. Please notify us with your payment if you want us to open this sealed record and check the merchandise before we ship it.
Seam splits (the disc breaking through the spine of the cover in transit) can occur as part of the shipping process. We always pack carefully, but the only sure way to prevent seam splits in transit is to remove the record from the cover before packing it, which we do with all non-sealed records. At the buyer’s request, we will open a sealed record and pack the vinyl in its protective sleeve separate from the cover. Unless the buyer requests that the sealed record be opened and packed in this manner, we are not liable for any seam splits that may occur in transit.
