TONTON MACOUTE
1971 uk RCA Neon NE-4. NM. Here is a stunning original uk first pressing of this musically brilliant jazzy-progressive rock album by 'Tonton Macoute'. This is the bands one and only album, it sold poorly when released and so it is now one of the rarest and hardest to find on the Rca-Neon label. The vinyl has a superb original sheen, there are no bad marks, scuffs or scratches at all, in fact this rare album shows barely any signs of play, all tracks play and sound just about perfect, there are no loud clicks or pops and no annoying loud background crackle, this record has only ever had just a handful of careful plays on a decent turntable and so there is no lessoning in the sound quality. This is just a brilliant looking/playing original first issue that will definitely not disappoint in any way.
The Rca-Neon labels are in excellent clean condition with barely any visible spindle traces.
The 'E.J.Day' matt gatefold cover is in stunning condition. The front/back and inside are nice and clean with no wear or creasing, the edges are straight and strong with barely any signs of shelf/storage wear, and the spine is in really excellent shape with all text clear and easy to read. This matt gatefold is just about perfect and like the vinyl it too will also not disappoint. The original matt black poly-lined inner has a few small rips around the centre hole and the polythene has also come lose, the vinyl will be sent in a seperate white poly-lined inner sleeve.

I pack my records very well with plenty of rigid card support to avoid damage. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind.
