TOMORROW rare psych 45 REVOLUTION 1967 PARLOPHONE R 5627 superb copy
On offer is the TOMORROW rare psych 45rpm entitled REVOLUTION c/w THREE JOLY DWARFS released in the UK on the PARLOPHONE label PARLOPHONE R 5627 in 1967. Both sides of this rare and sought after psychedelic 45 were directed and produced by Mark P. Wirtz. This 45 is rarely offered for sale: especially in the nice condition that this one is in.
· The disc labels are lovely and clean and completely clear of any writing or other marks.
· The vinyl is in SUPERB EX+ condition: with a LOVELY sheen to the vinyl on both sides. It has not been played very often at all.
· I have just test played this rare 45 on my BOSE hi-fi for the first time in many years and it plays very SUPERBLY.
The disc comes housed in its original PARLOPHONE label company sleeve.
The MOJO MUSIC GUIDE to Psychedelia: 100 mind-expanding masterpieces – selected this psych 45 as one of the top 50 slices of UK Psychedelia … Describing this single as an ‘LP compressed onto a 45…’ MOJO goes on to say ‘ Tomorrow featured future Pretty Thing Twink, future Yes guitarist Steve Howe, and Keith West… Revolution is absurdly committed to the flower-child ethic, paranoid and gloriously over-produced. This being England, however, Revolution was… simple - All we want is peace to blow our minds.’
And there is a theory that this track Revolution – sparked off the response from John Lennon and the Beatles on the White Album… BUT what is fact is that this is a SUPERB copy of a FABULOUS psych track… Rarely offered for sale: especially in the LOVELY condition that this one is in.
