SENSATIONAL AND technical guitar workout from this super rich talent and former star of the James Gang and Deep Purple. Bolin's legacy is both long and cherished but this album must surely rank as a fitting testimant to his enduring legend - a magical collection of tracks benefitting enormously from some of the best guitar playing that has ever been recorded. Half the tracks feature vocals and the other half are instumentals with nods to jazz rock, hard rock and funk rock. Think Jeff beck but only better and heavier.

Some great tracks here including the brilliantly groovy 'Sweet Burgandy', the meloncholic 'Hello Again', the super heavy 'Shake The Devil' (one of the best things that he ever recorded), the jazz fusion 'Post Toastie' and the quirky yet heavy 'You Told Me You Loved Me'.

A brilliant, brilliant talent that, if he had lived, should have gone on to become one of the moss influential guitar players of all time right up there with Beck, Page, Blackmore and Clapton.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Beautiful unplayed condition. No spindle marks on labels and no other signs of any use. Grades as factory fresh MINT!

Cover: Again, no signs of any use. Issued in a beautifully designed cover - displays original printers bloom. Sharp corners, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, square and totally uncrushed. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
