This is a reasonably priced EARLY 1980s U.S. PRESSING OF THE 1976 ASYLUM RECORDS LP titled 'Small Change' from dark moody storytelling singer / songwriter Tom Waits.  It is Asylum Records catalog number 7E-1078, orange and black Asylum labels.  Tom Waits is variously accompanied on this album by jazz greats Shelly Manne, Jim Hughart, and Lew Tabackin. Tracks: Tom Traubert's Blues (Four Sheets To The Wind In Copenhagen), Step Right Up, Jitterbug Boy (Sharing A Curbstone With Chuck E. Weiss, Robert Marchese, Paul Body And The Mug And Artie), I Wish I Was In New Orleans (In The Ninth Ward), The Piano Has Been Drinking (Not Me) (An Evening With Pete king), Invitation To The Blues, Pasties And A G-String (At The Two O'Clock Club), Bad Liver And A Broken Heart (In Lowell), The One That Got Away, Small Change (Got Rained on With His Won .38), I Can't Wait To Get Off Work (And See My Baby On Montgomery Avenue).  Visual condition of record is a high VG++/NM- with a very few very light surface marks which only show up under strong light, cannot be felt, and do not affect play.   Condition of cover is a high VG+ with a couple of small wrinkles, a little bit of contact wear, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners.  This LP would be a choice addition to any Tom Waits or singer / songwriter record collection!
